To ground our vision, Seton Creek Consulting uses the following methods to practice the values we preach:
Telehealth – We are a telehealth-only practice by choice. Providing services virtually allows our clinicians to provide care to clients with greater ease, especially in scheduling. Clients and clinicians can schedule care that is conducive to their specific needs and situations. Telehealth has shown promising outcomes since expanding during the COVID-19 pandemic for clients and clinicians. Telehealth also supports our mission to expand access to care for all. Telehealth allows us to live our values of inclusivity and person-centeredness.
The Consulting Model – The use of “consulting” v. “counseling” in our practice name is intentional as is the use of the term “client” v. “patient.” We believe that people are the experts of their own lives. At Seton Creek Consulting, our goal is to partner with our clients and use our clinical expertise to support the goals, visions, and values they have for themselves. We believe in the inherent worth and value of every person just as they are. The language we use at Seton Creek Consulting seeks to reduce stigma and the use of the disease model in our field while upholding the individuality of every person we work with. The consulting model allows us to live our values of person-centeredness and inclusivity.
Clinician Services – To provide quality care, the clinicians that serve through Seton Creek Consulting are a top priority. Our clinicians are provided quality clinical supervision and consultation. They are HIPPA-certified and coached on leading practices in providing telehealth services. Each clinician is encouraged to meet the standards of excellence for their given specialties. Our clinicians maintain the requirements of all regulatory agencies that govern their professional licenses.
Our clinicians are exceptional and their wellbeing is paramount. The use of telehealth allows clinicians to create and maintain work-life balance to reduce clinical burnout. Telehealth also allows for greater compensation for clinicians. Seton Creek Consulting was established as a professional corporation (PC) to allow clinicians to have a direct voice in the governance of the practice. Seton Creek Consulting seeks to use the PC v PLLC model to create a collaborative private practice experience for clinicians that work with us.
To support the clinical community at-large, Seton Creek Consulting provides clinical supervision, consulting, and educational services beyond our practice.
